We are now able to display short videos based on single channel profiles, to see what videos our friends are watching and get some top picks videos recommended by WeChat algorithm. We are here to learn WeChat! Each Channels video may include a description, hashtag, location and a link to an article within WeChat. The video frame is mainly in vertical orientation and will last up to a minute. This content was previously unavailable to us because WeChat is a friend based platform. Thanks to WeChat channels we can learn so much about the Chinese social media world and the Chinese audience. Channels is a great feature which helps to interact and get familiar with Chinese trends.
