Less is more, How to make a great post on Instagram and WeChat without too much content!

In this post, we will go over two great apps that will save you tons of time and help you upload a killer post on Instagram or WeChat moments with less content. I will start with a short introduction to those apps. after that, we will go over the apps, how to use them, and small tricks just for you.

Those two apps will help you create great content from one or two images alone and have a free version:

The first app is Instagrid. Instagrid is a great tool to divide a single image and create an Instagram scroll effect or a nine image grid for WeChat Moment. By saying instgrid, you can understand that its purpose is to make an Instagram grid out of your photos.

The second app, puzzle star will turn your photos into one beautiful collage post, for instance, you just choose a template according to the platform grid and then upload your photos.

Why to use those apps?

you should use those apps as it perfectly fit both Instagram and WeChat, where a good-looking grid of photos is the name of the game but above all reasons, most of it is free of charge!

We will start with instagrid. you will need only one photo for your post. we are going to separate this photo into small segments.

Download and install Instagrid / 9 grid cut

Inside the app store, search for: Insta Grid- a nine-cut grid for Instagram by Liam's studio.

After it's downloaded, open it.

Using instagrid

After confirming the app terms and watching an ad, you will reach your mobile photo files.

• Select an image or take a shot right now.
• You will get a short add again, if you want to delete it. Press on the x or wait.
• Select the grids template you want; you will find it below the image. For Instagram, I would like to get the 3x1 grids template and easily create a carousel effect, which means i will swift right and see all of the photos one by one.
• For WeChat, I prefer to choose 3x3 which will fit the WeChat 9 grid. as a result,my wechat moments post will show my photo seperated into 9 simetric square.
• Now press on the top right arrow. And you will get your image divides accordingly with numbers. Those numbers will help you during the uploading to know which photo to upload first and what is the photos order.
• You can save it all to your mobile or share it automatically in your Instagram stories, feed or direct message.
• The new images are now in your photo album. It's time to upload and publish your post in the social media timeline.
• Sometimes the order of the numbers is wrong (and the first photo should come last), so make sure the images are well fixed before publishing.

Our tip

I often go to a place without my camera seeing amazing things and ending up with only three decent photos.

Also, it is excellent to take a panorama image and divide it.

Download and install

Search for Puzzelstar in your app store. Look for the cream-colored icon with a lady photo. start downloading, then press on open.

Using puzzle star

1. firstly, Choose the number of grids you need at the top of your screen. I choose the nine grid in the middle as it is perfect for WeChat. For Instagram, select the three grids or more according to your preferences.
2. secondly, Scroll down and look for a template you like. If the locker icon is visible, it means it's free of charge, but you need to unlock it and watch a small promotion while downloading.
3. thirdly, if you like a template with a crown icon, pay attantion it cost moneyt, but not too expensive.

• You have downloaded the pattern. Now add photos according to your design.
• The editing options here are pretty fun. You can edit your text, download a drawing as an element (check the neon elements), stickers, and more.
• Pressing on the eye sign above will let you preview the final look of the pattern.
• Now, click on next. You will see another promotion ad after the ad. Press on the x sign to see the grid.
• You can save as a grid or save as an image and share it with the world!
• finally, save your grid as a draft, and you could always use it again by going to the main page and pressing on the user icon.Spoiler: Although the puzzle star app is a great one, it also takes much space in your mobile, so make sure your mobile can deal with it or uninstall and reinstall it once in a while.

Here is a short reminder how to upload your post in WeChat and Instagram:

Publish your art in WeChat.

1.            Open WeChat and go to the Me tab

2.            Click on “My Posts” and then “My Moments.”

3.            Create a new post by pressing on the camera icon and choosing the option “select from the album “.

4.            Upload the 9 divided images from the bottom to the top.

5.            If the photo is not clear, change the order 😊

6.            after that, check that the photo is looking good, finalize details, and press on post.

Publish your art in Instagram

1. Open Instagram .
2. click on the plus sing on top of your screen.
3. choose the option post (or story).
4. click on the multiply photos option and choose all the photos you edited in insta grid.
5. In addition, add final editing touches and publish.
