You know the feeling when you are meeting with your friends and you must say something to one of your friends but he is too busy checking his phone ? In this case you might touch his shoulder and grab his attention,
From now on you can budge someone inside the WeChat Chat conversation as well!
From latest June 2020 There is a new fun feature in WeChat, that let you nudge people in private and group conversation. If you want to grab an attention of someone inside the chat so just nudge him by double tapping on his profile photo inside a group chat.
This taping will inform the person he was just nudged by you and that will make him smile (or being annoyed…).
Pay attention that it will also send a notification to everyone in the chat group that a nudging has occurred, but don’t worry, they don’t know It was you!
Only the person that you nudged knows who it was.
Like a real-life nudge, don’t start over with this too much because it is really easy to move from good attention to make it incompatible.
Nudge and Tickle during a conversation
Let's give it a test:
- Go to a chat.
- Tap on someone's profile picture.
- This person will get a message that you’ve been tickling him for attention.

Check if Your friend deleted You
In case you tickle “Zhang” in a group Chat but “Zhang” deleted you from his contact list you will get a notice that you are not his friend anymore. The WeChat will write you “Zhang has enabled friend confirmation [Send a friend request] to Chat. Meaning that if you wish Zhang to see your message you should be friend with him and ask him to add you. This is a great way to find out rather someone deleted you from the contact list! And in case he did, you find it out in an easy and not being embarrassed about it (just disappointed!).
Bare in mind that if you are in a group conversation, everyone will receive a message that this person has been pushed. This is a great way to catch attention in a busy and crowded group conversation and make the WeChat just spicier!
