OMG, my WeChat emojis are changing!

Animated Emojis is a new feature that will wake up your chat conversation.

With this feature, you choose emojis and press on them, as a result, they are changing in an unexpected way to something else.

No one prepared me for this, as I was chatting with my friend and she suddenly sent me a bomb.

It was an emoji bomb. The bomb was blown on my screen and left with a trace of smoke.

This trick is too cool to keep it only to me and because the animated emojis look so normal, I almost missed it out!

In this post, I am going to save your time and go over the main emoji options. that way you could master the emojis without going over them one by one.

I will start by explaining where to find the animated emojis. After that, I will go over the must-know emojis.

Where to find animated emojis?

1.            Make sure you have the updated version of WeChat, which is 8.02 (as of this moment).

2.            Open WeChat press on the chats tab, and then choose a chat conversation.

3.            Press on the smiley icon, and you will get a bar with an animated emoji menu.

Let's take you on an animated emoji tour. A small tip before we start, the best emojis are related to fire.

Funny emojis. Send those emojis to your friends, to keep it less formal.

Too weird. We are not sure when to use it 🙂

Didn't get the joke. Maybe the Chinese friends will get the joke better.

Insiders (666+ qq). those emojis will let you fit in the local Chinese chat group conversation. however, don't overuse it as it might be annoying.

Emoji Rules

Even though Emojis sounds like an easy business, Importantly, there are some rules that you should pay attention to:

Send the emoji one by one and do not add text or other emojis next to it as it will not work.

Don't use animated emojis too much as it might interrupt the chat conversation.

Feel the chat conversation mood and think before you send the emoji. for example, it will be inappropriate to send a funny emoji right after someone wrote a personal sad story.

How to choose the right emojie?

When you long-press on an icon, you will get its meaning in English, so it is easy to understand it all about and express yourself better.
