Are you looking for a lawyer? Throw a rock in the center of town and you'll probably get there! When you walk the streets of Haifa downtown, you will see many signs in Hebrew 1 on 5 is probably a commercial for a lawyer! Why do they need that many lawyers, seriously everybody chooses to divorce here? Well the answer is quite simple;Haifa city is the place of the Justice Authority headed by the Supreme Court! This makes a lot of sense! If you have a trial, it's much easier to find a professional lawyer who can reach the court super-fast and already familiar with all the staff. The next time we need a lawyer, we'll probably pick one up in Haifa!
The shortest metro line in the world, situated in Haifa, and it received the prettiest name of "Carmelit". Caramel is the mountain where the city of Haifa is located, so it seems to be a nickname for this mountain. This metro has just 4 stations and super convenient if you want to reach from downtown to Upper Town and see the city and the Mediterranean Sea and the port from above.

The best coffee in Israel can be found in a modest little shop, search for Samy Coffee. This coffee house is famous for its special coffee flavor and the message of coexistence that come with it. It was originally set up in 1974 by Abu-Samy Faishel. Today, the third generation runs that place with much love. Their coffee is so good that they sell it abroad in Italy, in the USA and soon in the USA! They import quality beans from all over the world and what's special here is the roasting and blending method that is passed on from generation to generation. Haifa is gorgouse and trendy
Haifa is one of Israel's trendiest places right now. I suppose the student community at Haifa University and Technion are a huge part of it. Haifa has beautiful bars, markets and young people that drink their coffee and sit on the Paris Square. There is something about the vibes there which is different than anywhere else in Israel, the salty sea air with the topography, colorful graffiti walls, beautiful ghost houses and local flea market together street food. If you're an adventurer such as us, do yourself a favor and explore the city on foot and by the metro!
Love Boat
It's a little “hot out of the oven” but it's definitely on my list of surprising facts! From April 2021 there is a huge cruise ship in the port of Haifa, which regards as the best luxury boats in the world a Quantum Ultra Class! It is called “Odyssey of the Seas” and belongs to Royal Caribbean. This ship was supposed to start sailing from Italy on regular tours, but due to global health crises, plans were modified. The new timetable is during the summer and will be on a cruise from Haifa to Greece and back. The ship offers many restaurants, swimming pools, basketball room, wave ski simulator, theaters and the best facilities to make you want to live there. If you are lucky you can see the Norwegian staff doing exercise on board and sunbathing as they are still did not take the vaccine and not allowed to leave yet.
